So I haven't blogged in a while.......I know.
We've been busy.
Evan has started preschool (officially) at Parnall Elementary. His teacher is Miss Stacey, Miss Debbie, and Miss Beth. He enjoys going everyday from 8:30 - 11:30, then he goes to a daycare with his school friends afterwards. He is doing really well and is learning quickly. He doesn't like writing, but he is getting better at it. We practice his homework and letters everyday after school and then we play.
Wesley is still the manager of Polly's meat department and he is good at it, even though he may hate it sometimes. He is top sales out of the stores and may be up for another bonus soon.
I am working part-time at Gymboree in the mall and love the perks! I substitute teach for the local schools and also developing her photography business. Busy, busy, busy!
I am definately a busy mom and really enjoy the photography!
I have a huge red carpet event coming up and will get a lot of photography advertising from it!
We are getting ready for Halloween. Evan will be a skeleton (big surprise, as he is a pirate and skull fan).
We are also in the mist of selling our house and finding another one. We have found one but are waiting on the seller. Not getting my hopes up yet, but eagerly waiting.
I have heard alot from my dad who recently moved to Florida and he is doing well, even though he's alone alot (which I don't like).
Jeff (my brother) and Crystal are expecting their first baby in November and are excited for a new baby girl!
Looking forward to the holidays!

Oh yeah on the side as an enjoyable hobby I am also starting my Photography! I have had several clients and already booked some Weddings! I am excited for Photos are my most prized possession!
Evan and Wesley are adjusting as well as the dogs to my absence. I hope I don't overdo it though, like I always tend to take everything on at once, big surprise! AArrrgggghhhhh! She-woman watch out! Super mom is here to stay!!!!!
Life is good , Life is exciting , Life with my boys is the best!

Spring brings new beginnings!
So I thought that mother nature was bringing spring in the picture and then she must have got pissed off or something cause there was a complete ice storm last night and my poor old dog, Sabbath, slipped down our deck steps going to the bathroom. Damn you mother nature! Make up your mind!
Meanwhile my stupid keybord keeps messing up, everytime I am typing something the keys are not working and I have to go back and fix everything I type. Grrrr!
Onthe brightside, my friend Shawn came over and had some software I despirately need for my computer and downloaded them for me and he even says he can speed it up for me too! I think he's my new hero!!!! He says he needs my computer for 3-4 days though, uggg! Can I really go that long without it? That's sad that I need to ask myself that question, isnt it.
The photography is going good, I have many potential clients and the pictures are getting better with each shoot! I have had several of my friends come through for me and volunteering their bodies to shoot! Here are a few.
I am really enjoying the photography work I am doing. It is very rewarding and to have someone else really enjoy the product in the end is soooo worth it! I have even been asked to do a wedding in the summer! I still have yet to do an infant, but I am trying to find a newborn to do.
I also have been busy trying to become a substitute teacher! I got some info from a friend of mine and did all the paperwork to do so and now just waiting to get into the system. And another friend of mine got me a part time job working at Gymboree, a children's clothing store, at the mall. I don't start until next week though.
So, needless to say this month has been extremely busy! I am hoping by next month to have everything more strategicly more organized and building up a steady income for myself.
Oh yeah! I am also planning my 3rd annual 'Girls Nite In' Party! April 9th! I am sooo excited I have alot more vendors this year! I hope more people come and enjoy it and I am geeked its an official yearly event!

New career goals from old hobby....
So, since I have been unemployed and home with Evan for quite sometime now and no prospectable employement is on the rise. Evan though I have applied to over 50 places since thanksgiving 2010!
I have decided to try to make my hobby a career, thanks to some inspiring friends! So with the help of my wonderful Husband and dear Father purchasing me a new camera for my birthday, the help from my reliable Mother for props, and some true friends as mentors and models.....I think I can get my portfolio full and start taking on prospectable clients!
I have my first photo shoot with a long-time friend and her beautiful daughter today!
Wish me Luck! I can't wait to post the here and on facebook!

Ready for Spring!
Yes! I may be ready for spring, but you think Michigan is?
No, mother nature in our state is quites the procastinator.
So to catch you up to date again.....
My dad has moved to Florida and is enjoying living in a retirement community, where he is the youngest! Maria and himself just resently got back from a business trip to South Africa where Maria worked for 6 weeks and they enjoyed excursions after hours. They went on several safari type rides and hikes. He sent several good pictures back to me.
This is his view from his daily bike ride to the beach. Life is rough isn't it! HA HA
I think I get my photography sense from him.

Sick of winter already!
Okay so I am totally sick of the snow already....sick of shoveling it, sick of looking at it, sick of it freezing everything! I only like it on christmas and then it can go away!
I'm glad I got that off my chest. Today Evan had his second injury ever! He bonked his head on the corner of one of his tool boxes and cut his head, blood everywhere. Doesn't need stitches though, thank God and he seems to be fine. He ate dinner and is playing fine. Way to scare a mom though!
I am getting geared up for all my fundraising this year! I have the Wish-a-Mile for my dad, who is riding in the 50k bike tour, and Relay for Life of course is my families big one. Sara's Stubborn Souls, my relay team, is getting in gear to recruit some more teammates and have a big time FUN! We'll see how dedicated people can be though.
I am hoping to get together with some of my friends this weekend for some much needed mom time! The winter time seems so isolating to me, it could be the fact that I have no working vehicle though too! LOL.
I got some scrapbooking done today, only three pages, but I got some done. I taught Evan how to use kid sissors today and he is doing such a good job and he cut up paper for at least an hour sitting next to me scrapbooking. I enjoyed "us" time doing that, and he did too!
Evan seems to be more creative with his words lately and sounds so grown up and knowledged. Today he says to me, "Mommy, we need to make Nana and Papa a Valentine, cause we love them." Okay, good reason. We talked about that one time in a store weeks ago and for him to relate that to our craft time was remarkable to me for a 3 year old. He is so smart.

Happy New Year!!!!
Welcome 2011!
Much has happened since my last blog... We had a wonderful christmas! Spent christmas eve at my mom's with jeff and crystal, mom and tom, and maryjo and cameron. It was a light dinner and we played left, right, center (a dice game played with quarters). Evan played well and is learning his left from his right very well.
We went a bit overboard at christmas on our little man, but he is our only child! After we opend all our gifts at home and spent time playing, eating and napping we went to visit the Graham's at Brandon and Ashlee's new house! Wow! Is it gorgeous!!!! Very spacious for their big family and much more room for more. Everyone was there and everyone was happy! After much food and many gifts everyone departed, but us. Ashlee had challenged me to a dance off on the Wii to michael jackson's new dance game. Wow! What a workout and it was awesome! I want a Wii now! After our round of dancing it was Wes and Brandon's turn to dance off..... Holy pee my pants laughing, it was hilarious and Ashlee, I and the kids couldn't stop laughing until they were done! Whew!
On to new years... we just stayed home with lil' man and rented movies. Nothing too exciting but we couldn't get a sitter and didn't need to spend any money anyway! Evan passed out about 10:30 and we made it to 1:00 or so.
We celebrated mom's birthday on jan. 3rd by inviting them over for tri-tip, and if you haven't tried it yet, you are missin out! Ask your local meat department, or go see Wes at Polly's! It was fun and nice for us to finally have them over for a chance.
My dad and maria are heading to Africa for work on January 11th. They will be gone for 6weeks or so. My dad hasn't been there since vietnam. It should be exciting for him to see the sites again. Maria was there for work a month ago and got me an awesome shot glass to add to my collection of over 50!
Tom, my second dad, is doing the Make-A-Wish bike tour again this year in July. He is just amazing, I can barely do 5 miles..... LOL! I can't wait to see him at the finish line again when we volunteer again this year. It is such a blast hanging out there till the bike in.
I am hoping to get a chance to hang out more with my friends this year now that Evan is old enough to hang with us and play with the other kids without me having to observe his every move. How fun will it be to set up more playdates for him! Now if the other moms can just keep in touch with me.
Anyway it's nap time for us. More updates later!
